Rooms at Hotel Henry

The rooms are classically styled and built around plain, practical comfort: a bed you sleep well in, a desk you can actually work at, a private bathroom with a shower and surroundings quiet enough that you notice the difference the next morning. Nothing is decorative for the sake of it.

Four categories cover most of the reasons people stay here, from a single weekday night before a flight to a family stopping over on a longer drive through the Rhine-Main region. If you are unsure which one fits, call us and we will describe the differences honestly rather than steering you towards the largest room.

Double room

Double Room

One queen bed, a private bathroom with a shower and a desk by the window. This is the room most couples take, and it is also the one chosen by people travelling alone who simply want more space than a single room offers after a long day.

Because the house is quiet in the evenings, the double works well for guests who want to read or work late without noise from a bar or restaurant service running underneath the floor.

Single room

Single Room

One twin bed for guests travelling alone. It is compact and well organised, and it is fitted with exactly the same private bathroom, desk, wardrobe and flat-screen television as the larger categories, so nothing practical is missing.

Weekday business guests take this room most often, along with travellers who need one night of sleep before an early flight from Frankfurt and would rather not pay for space they will not use.

Twin Room

Two separate twin beds, which suits colleagues travelling together as much as friends sharing a weekend in the Rhine-Main area. Nobody has to negotiate over a shared mattress after a day of meetings.

The layout keeps both beds clear of the desk and wardrobe, so the room still works when two people are getting ready at the same time in the morning and both need to reach their luggage.

Triple Room

Three twin beds in one room. This is our largest category and the one families and small groups usually ask for, since everyone sleeps in the same room without anyone being sent down the corridor on their own.

Family rooms are available. Cribs and extra beds are not offered, so the three beds are the sleeping arrangement exactly as listed. It helps to tell us who is travelling when you book so we can prepare the room accordingly.

What every room includes

The upper floors are reached by stairs only, as the building has no lift. Some accommodation is on the ground floor, so tell us in advance if stairs are difficult and we will see what is possible for your dates.

Private bathroom with shower
Each room has its own bathroom with a shower and WC, and towels are provided for every guest, so nothing is shared along the corridor.
Desk and wardrobe
A desk gives you a proper surface for a laptop or paperwork, and a wardrobe or closet means a week's luggage does not have to live on the floor.
Flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi
Wireless internet is free throughout the house and a flat-screen television is fitted in every category, which covers both a working evening and a quiet one.
Socket beside the bed
There is a socket within reach of the bed, a small thing that matters when you are charging a phone overnight before an early departure.
Heating, soundproofing and a fan
Rooms are heated in the colder months, fitted with soundproofing, and supplied with a fan for warm summer nights.
Hardwood or parquet flooring
The floors are hardwood or parquet rather than carpet, which keeps the rooms easy to air out and simple to keep clean between stays.
